Why irradiance is the specification that matters most.
Irradiance is the amount of light energy delivered per unit area per unit time — it determines the dose a session actually delivers, which is what the photobiomodulation literature describes as the variable that matters. The Haven delivers 100 mW/cm² measured at 15cm, across a curved 320° chamber, from 4,500W and 26,880 LEDs. The curved geometry is not aesthetic. It holds the panels closer to the body across more surface area, which is what keeps delivery even from head to foot rather than concentrated at the centre.
Red wavelengths at 633nm and 660nm are among the most studied in photobiomodulation research, including for their role in recovery, comfort, and skin appearance. The Haven delivers 100 mW/cm² at 15cm across the full curved chamber — 25% more than the POD+ at 80 — so delivery holds up at the edges of the chamber, not only at the centre.
Near-infrared light reaches deeper than visible red. 850nm is the most widely studied near-infrared wavelength in recovery research; 810nm and 940nm extend the range the Haven can deliver. Five wavelengths in total, each independently controllable, so a session can be set to what you are actually running rather than a single fixed output.
What these wavelengths are studied for: Red and near-infrared light in this range has been studied extensively for its role in muscle recovery, comfort, and skin appearance.

Dose and delivery: The literature describes a biphasic dose-response — what a session delivers depends on dose, not simply on how long it runs. Irradiance and output determine that dose, which is why both are specified on this page rather than left implied.

Every specification exists for a clinical reason.
26,880 EPISTAR®
24% more than the POD+. Higher density means more uniform irradiance — fewer gaps, more consistent delivery across the full chamber.
4,500W
29% more than the POD+. Higher irradiance per session — more photons delivered to tissue, stronger cellular response at the same session length.
100 mW/cm² at 15cm
25% more than the POD+ at 80 mW/cm². Irradiance determines the dose a session delivers — it is the specification that separates the two units in practice.
633 · 660 · 810 · 850 · 940nm
Five wavelengths, independently controllable. Two visible red, three near-infrared — the range most consistently used across published photobiomodulation research.
320° curved chamber
Curved design maintains closer panel-to-body proximity across more surface area — keeping delivery even across the chamber rather than concentrated at the centre.
0–10,000Hz
Adjustable duty cycle. Pulsed delivery is used across published protocols where continuous output is not the intent.
Dual: touchscreen + external
Staff manage sessions from outside the chamber — useful for high-volume facilities running clients back to back without interrupting a session in progress.
215 × 106 × 92cm · 270kg
Larger internal chamber than the POD+. At 270kg, floor load and delivery access are confirmed before build — see installation requirements below.
3 years
Australian team. Direct contact. Not a ticket system. Commercial-grade build designed for high-volume operation over years.
Overengineered by design.
What separates a device that performs for years from one that degrades within months is not visible in a product photo.
EPISTAR® chips rated for 100,000 hours of operation. At 8 sessions per day in a high-volume facility, that is decades of consistent output — not the 12–18 month degradation curve of generic LED alternatives.
The curved Lucite® panel delivers 99% light transmittance across the full chamber. Generic acrylic in cheaper alternatives delivers 60–80% — reducing how much light actually reaches the body, invisibly and on every single session.
A warranty is only as valuable as the team behind it. REDi is an Australian business. When you call, you speak to someone who knows your unit and can act. Response within one business day.
633nm, 660nm, 810nm, 850nm, 940nm — the range used across published photobiomodulation research. Independently controllable. Wavelength drift in lower-quality LEDs means the light delivered is not the light specified, regardless of stated output power.
Independently tested to IEC and EN electrical safety, photobiological safety and EMC standards. Test reports available on request. For a 4,500W device operating commercially, independent testing is a baseline we can evidence on request — not a marketing line.
Every REDi Haven is built to your specifications — not pulled from a warehouse. Your unit, for your space and requirements. The 30–40 day build timeline reflects that standard.
What it costs. What it replaces. What it generates.
Price follows the mechanism, specification, and build quality — because context changes what a number means.
Made to order. 30–40 day build and delivery. 3-year warranty. Australian support team.
For individual buyers: Clinic sessions on equipment at this level cost $80–$150 a visit. Four times a week, that is $1,390–$2,600 every month — and you own nothing at the end of it. Across the three-year warranty the Haven costs $1,250 a month of its own value. It costs less to own than the sessions cost to attend, at either end of that range. After that, the sessions cost you nothing at all.
For facility buyers: At 8 sessions per day at $80 across 20 operating days — $12,800 in monthly session revenue against $1,250 a month of asset cost. Under four months of operation covers the investment in full. The remaining warranty life is margin.
One client a day covers it.
Across the three-year warranty the Haven costs about $41 a day to own. A single $80 session covers nearly two of those days. Run one client a day across twenty operating days and the unit is paid for — before you have touched the other seven slots.
$1,600 a month at $80 a session — against $1,250 of monthly asset cost
At eight a day. Everything past the first session is margin
Session volumes and pricing are illustrative and based on the figures above. Daily and monthly asset cost is the purchase price spread across the three-year warranty period, and excludes running costs, staffing, and premises. Commercial equipment financing is available through established partners for qualifying buyers — terms are set by your lender.

What happens between order confirmation and first session.
A 270kg piece of equipment arriving at your facility is not a routine delivery. Here is every step of the process.
Dimensions, power, delivery access, and installation requirements confirmed in writing. At 270kg, nothing is assumed before build begins.
Hand-built to your exact specifications. Build progress updates at key milestones. Full quality inspection before despatch.
