REDi Recovery R1 | 8 Chamber Compression Boots

You trained hard on Monday. Tuesday your legs are cooked — heavy, swollen, not ready. That accumulated fatigue is what costs you. Not one bad session. The compound effect of never fully clearing it.

Why it works — REDi Perfuse™

Most compression boots flush your legs. The R2 also reloads them. Here is why that distinction matters.

Phase 1 — The Flush
Waste moves out

8 chambers inflate sequentially from foot to hip — replicating the pumping action your leg muscles perform during exercise. Metabolic waste, lactic acid, and deoxygenated blood is pushed up through the leg and into the trunk, where the body filters, oxygenates, and replenishes it.

Phase 2 — The Reload
Fresh supply returns

Chambers release. Pressure drops. Fresh oxygenated blood returns naturally into the leg — carrying nutrients back to the muscle and joint tissue that just cleared. The boots create the conditions. The body completes the cycle. This is what separates a flush from a full recovery.

How it fits your routine

Recovery only works if it gets used. This has one barrier: zipping in.

1 — Zip in

One size. Selectable zones. 60 seconds to set up regardless of leg length.

2 — Select mode + pressure

6 compression modes. 30–260 mmHg. Match the session to how your legs feel today.

3 — 20–30 minutes

Wireless. 4–6 hour battery. The boots cycle and stop automatically.

4 — Train again

Legs cleared and reloaded. The difference that compounds across a season.

What separates REDi Perfuse™ from cheaper alternatives

Compression boots vary significantly in how they actually work. Here is what matters.

  • 8 overlapping chambers: smoother, more even pressure transitions across the full leg — no gaps between zones, no pressure spikes where chambers meet. Most alternatives use 4 discrete chambers.
  • Selectable zones: switch off individual chambers for shorter legs, wider legs, or to work around an injury. The boot adapts to you.
  • 30–260 mmHg range: from light lymphatic support to deep therapeutic compression. Significantly wider than most consumer boots which top out at 100–150 mmHg.
  • 6 compression modes: 6 different inflation patterns — match the session to the recovery need, not just a single squeeze.
  • 4–6 hour wireless battery: no cable during use. Home, hotel, gym, sideline, training camp — anywhere.
  • Carry backpack included: purpose-built for travel. Not an afterthought.

What customers say

★★★★★

"These boots came at the right time — I had a big squat day on Monday and by Tuesday afternoon I could not bend my left knee it had inflamed. Put the boots on that night and the next night and with a combination of red light and sauna I was in no pain by Thursday morning."

Olivia G. — Wollongong NSW
REDi R2 Compression Boots
★★★★★

"Great value, made by an even better bloke. I was sceptical about spending this much on recovery gear but after the first week it was obvious. My legs recover between sessions in a way they never did before."

Matt B.

"As a marathon runner, muscle recovery is crucial. The R2 Boots have significantly reduced my recovery time. The adjustable pressure settings let me customise each session, and I feel less soreness after long runs."

Questions we get asked.

Does one size really fit all?
Yes. The boot is 125cm and fits athletes from 5'0" to 6'6". Individual chambers are selectable — shorter athletes switch off the upper zones they don't need. If you're unsure, email hello@redirecovery.com.au and we'll confirm fit before you order.
What are the 6 compression modes?
The 6 modes control the order and pattern the 8 chambers inflate — from full sequential flush (foot to hip, one chamber at a time) to overlapping wave patterns that maintain continuous pressure across multiple zones simultaneously. Pressure and session time are separate settings you adjust independently. Start with sequential and adjust from there.
What pressure should I start on?
Start toward the lower end — around 30–60 mmHg — for your first few sessions to let your legs adapt. Most athletes settle between 80–150 mmHg for regular recovery use. Move toward the higher end (200–260 mmHg) during heavy training blocks when legs are particularly loaded.
How long should each session be?
The timer runs from 5 to 99 minutes. We recommend 20–30 minutes for most recovery sessions. The boots cycle automatically and stop at your set time.
Before or after training?
Post-training is the primary use case — while the legs are in an active recovery state. Some athletes also use them the morning after a hard day or on rest days. Consistency across the week matters more than exact timing.
Can I use the R2 and REDi Anywhere at the same time?
Yes — and many athletes do. Boots cycling on the legs while the Anywhere runs on a specific area. Compression and red light target different mechanisms and stack well in the same session. The Recover Bundle (R2 + Anywhere) is built for exactly this.
Is it safe to use daily?
Yes. Daily use is safe for healthy adults. Avoid use over acute injuries, open wounds, or if you have a history of deep vein thrombosis or peripheral vascular disease — consult a clinician first in those cases.
